Parallel Structures 입니다!

 

 운전면허 시험을 보실 때 자주 등장하는 Parallel parking.....

좀 감이 오시나요?

바로 평행주차입니다.

 

주자 할 때는 어렵지만, 문법에서 등장하는 Parallel 구조는 전혀 어렵지 않아요!!

 

특히 상관 접속사와 쓰일 때  평행구조를 꼭 지켜야 합니다. 

 

상관 접속사란,

either ~ or, neither ~nor, not only ~ but also, both ~ and, whether ~ or, and as ~as

 

즉, either 뒤에 쓰인 구조와 or 다음에 나오는 문장의 구조가 반드시 같이야 한다는 거죠!

 

예시를 통해 살펴봐요~

 

He made up his mind either to paint  the van or  sell it to another buyer.

 

She loves both swimming competitively and to play golf.

 

The drive to Cuernavaca was not only  too expensive but also  was too tiring to do alone.
